Could you share some of the features offered for the 2019 model year?

As we stated before, the Ram ProMaster City is offered in two body styles. You have the choice of a cargo van appropriately named the Cargo and a five-passenger van called the Wagon. Ram offers both body styles in two trims, the Tradesman and the SLT. Standard features for the Tradesman model include Bluetooth, power front windows, a four-speaker sound system, cloth upholstery, a front overhead storage bin, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a 5" touchscreen interface, air conditioning, 16" steel wheels, and a USB port. The SLT adds on privacy glass, heated/power adjustable heated mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, height and lumbar adjustment for the driver's seat, and cruise control. Ram makes a few packages available for the ProMaster City, allowing you to configure it with features that meet all the needs of your jobs.

Can you tell me about the powertrain?

The ProMaster City can handle whatever you throw at it, thanks to the capable powertrain found under the hood. This powertrain is comprised of a 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir 2 engine and a class-exclusive 9-speed automatic transmission. Kicking out up to 178 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque both best-in-class numbers! For all your bigger cargo items that need to make the trip, the ProMaster City can handle up to 2,000 pounds. Smaller cargo items can be loaded inside the ProMaster City thanks to the impressive 131.7 cubic feet of cargo room in the two-passenger cargo body style. The 87.2-inch load floor length and 48.4 inches of cargo width between the wheels allow you to upfit your ProMaster City to meet all the needs of your jobs.

What kind of safety features does the ProMaster City come with?

For your safety and security, the ProMaster City comes outfitted with tons of passive and active safety features. The body structure of the work van has been designed with a reinforced structure and strategic crush zones for added protection in the event of an accident. Inside the cabin, Ram has installed seven airbags and active head restraints for further protection in the event of a collision. Whether you are making deliveries or backing up at the construction site, the ProMaster City offers a set of eyes in the back in the form a rearview camera. Activating automatically when shifting into reverse, the rearview camera displays a color image of what is happening right behind the van with guidelines so you can avoid obstacles with ease.
